Product Description

Camera Port (CAM)
A. Product Overview
LOFT-2(CAM) remote unit is engineered with proven channel over fiber technology, supporting most channel-level applications. It rapidly upgrades traditional PTZ and ENG cameras into lightweight, portable converged media channel systems.
This product is powered by the LOFT-2(CCU) terminal equipment and supplies power to the camera via the remote equipment. It supports a maximum power supply of 60W with selectable voltage outputs, facilitating compatibility with various camera brands and models.
The product features a comprehensive array of multi-service interfaces, supporting SDI over fiber, return feed, tally, genlock, Ethernet, and data control functions. It also includes a dedicated 1-channel intercom capability, enabling internal communication with the base station via a 5-pin intercom headset. Its unique dual optical routing output function significantly enhances the security of on-site signal over fiber.
The LOFT-2(CAM) chassis incorporates 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch mounting holes, facilitating installation with the product's suspension structure or directly onto a camera tripod for enhanced convenience.
Base Station Side (CCU)
B. Product Overview
The LOFT-2(CCU) near-side equipment and LOFT-2(CAM) remote-side equipment together form the LOFT-2 lightweight converged media integrated over fiber solution.
This device supports all signal interface inputs/outputs for the LOFT-2(CAM) remote unit while adding 4-channel 12G-SDI distribution outputs, PGM loop-out, and DB25 interface expansion for connecting to a switcher. Additionally, the LOFT-2(CCU) supports de-embedding 2 channels of SDI embedded audio (analog audio).
The device supports optional NDI streaming encoding output, compatible with NDI FULL and NDI|HX. Support for OverIP in the ProAV industry will be added in future updates.
LOFT-2(CCU) supports dual-channel fiber optic routing with primary/backup switching. Upon detecting failure or damage to one fiber, the device automatically switches to the other fiber for service over fiber, enhancing overall to fiber robustness. Additionally, the CCU supports remote device power supply via a universal optical-electrical composite cable, enabling effective connections over distances exceeding 200 meters.
