OTU-1002HDRC is a high-definition and standard-definition HD/SD-to-SDI/DVB-ASI digital SDI over fiber product that offers full compatibility across all formats. It features built-in de-jittering functionality, with a single signal input at the transmitter end and four signal loop outputs. The receiver side provides four output channels. Designed as a standard 1U, 19-inch rack-mountable unit, it comes equipped with FC/UPC connectors for secure and reliable performance.

The OTU-1002HDRC digital HD fully compatible SDI over fiber device features a genuine, imported dedicated ASIC. Its receiver incorporates a built-in de-jitter circuit, significantly enhancing signal quality. Additionally, the device boasts a unique optical link relay function—its receiver is equipped with an optical relay circuit, enabling unlimited cascading for serial connections. Thanks to the de-jitter and advanced signal-processing capabilities present in both the transmitter and receiver units, the device completely eliminates jitter and bit-error issues caused by optical dispersion during long-distance over fiber, making it ideal for applications requiring distances exceeding 200 km.
The product features a unique cable equalization function that conditions and restores signals experiencing amplitude attenuation due to cable over fiber. Additionally, it includes distortion correction and jitter reduction circuitry capable of repairing signals degraded by cable-induced distortions, impedance mismatches, source interference, and environmental noise—issues often leading to excessive jitter and bit errors. These circuits ensure the output or loop-out signal waveform adheres to SMPTE standard formats. Each output channel can reliably transmit over standard cables for distances exceeding 150–200 meters. Moreover, the internal circuitry automatically adjusts and compensates based on the cable length, guaranteeing that every individual signal maintains optimal quality at the cable’s endpoint.
