The OTU-4002HDRC digital HD fully compatible over fiber device features a genuine, imported dedicated ASIC. Its receiver incorporates a built-in de-jitter circuit, significantly enhancing signal quality. Additionally, the device boasts a unique optical link repeater function—equipped with an optical relay circuit on the receiving end—allowing for unlimited cascading connections. Thanks to the de-jitter and advanced signal-processing capabilities in both the transmitter and receiver units, the device completely eliminates jitter and error rates caused by optical dispersion during long-distance over fiber, making it ideal for applications requiring distances exceeding 200 km.
The product features a unique cable equalization function that conditions and restores signals experiencing amplitude attenuation due to cable over fiber. Additionally, it includes distortion correction and jitter reduction circuitry capable of repairing signals degraded by cable over fiber, impedance mismatches, source interference, and environmental noise—issues often leading to distortion, bit errors, and excessive jitter. These circuits ensure the output or loop-out signal waveform adheres to SMPTE standard formats. Each output channel can reliably transmit over 150–200 meters via standard cables, with the internal circuitry automatically adjusting for cable length to maintain optimal signal quality at the cable’s far end.
